Here in the EU, we all find it incredibly annoying when we get connected to US servers.
You in the US love this.
We’re all “that noob who can’t even hit me”.
Why can’t we hit you?

Or we get shot before we can even see you.

So 343, let me pick the server I want to connect to.
I am SICK of this now.
Whenever I play with someone who isn’t hitting me when they should I say “Oh, they must be in Australia.” and then I feel bad for them.

As a person from the US, no we don’t love it. The lag compensation in this game is -Yoinked!- up. You just teleport around making eratic unpredictable jumps 5-10 meters at a time. Our shots don’t register on you half of the time either.
I’m all for getting you off our servers.

343 need to do something…I mean seriously.
Like, if it’s 10pm where I live, I understand if I’m being connected to US servers, there won’t actually be people on EU servers (well, not that many).
But at 7pm? It’s only 2pm EST at that time, and there should still be people on at 7…
I’m assuming that Microsoft has more money than EA, and EA has loads of non US servers (in Battlefield at least). Even if Microsoft doesn’t have mroe money than EA, they could at least afford SOME EU and Australian servers.

They do have them, we just dont get connected to them.
Lool I was shooting a guy teleporting then some he lands his shots while mine all don’t land on target.

You complain about a incompetent Dev but still wants to support them more… really dude.
DICE allows people to pick what server they play on in BF4 for PS4. Can’t imagine why this isn’t a thing for Halo on X1.

DICE does it for Xbone too because I’ve seen and played on several.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe even Battlefront has a dedicated server browser akin to Battlefield’s and Titanfall’s.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Battlefront video where someone selected a server.

I want Halo to be good.
Cause I love the series, I don’t want it to die.
But it’s just a few issues like this, that are just so irritating.

Were the ones that suffer and if you were in our shoes you would be pissed too. We payed money for this game and as the consumer we expect the game to offer an equal quality of gameplay for everyone around the world. 343 have not said anything on this topic as far as I know and that -Yoinking!- pisses me off. It’s clear 343 doesn’t give a donkeys -Yoink- about EU or Australian players and we have every right to be annoyed, were done asking nicely 343, fix this issue soon or potentially loose a good chunk of your playerbase. Personally, I won’t leave the game.
But I’ll leave multiplayer if I need.
The servers are set up to connect you to the most optimal matchmaking. So if nobody is really playing in EU, then instead of you sitting there for 2-3 minutes to find a game it will connect you to the US servers in 10 seconds. They did not have this system in place when the game first released, which was killing the game for a lot of people including myself because we could not connect and play with our Aussie friends and EU friends that we met in Destiny, and matchmaking was slower for other countries as a result. Threads about not finding games in Australia, anyone? They changed it because people begged them to, and now everyone wants it back. I think they should allow you to join our servers, but it definitely should be a choice. For us, my friends only really notice problems in SWAT(usually only when its magnums) or regular Warzone.
