No intros in the beginning of a match

343 should cut the intros in the beginning of the multiplayer matches. They are pretty much pointless and a waste of space. Or at least add the option to turn them off

Adding the option to turn them off would just give you a longer loading screen or just a few seconds of black screen while everyone else watches them.

Where did you find the information that the intro’s are part of the loading? This seems like a false dichotomy.

I’d rather see a count down timer. Makes the game feel more fun and adrenalized, like a horse race with the gates about to drop. Intros just feel cringe, slow, and irritating. They likely only exist so they can sell intro animations as a thing on the store.

I guess I could see how they’d come off that way. And I’m not against the option being added at some point, I just don’t think this should be a priority at the moment considering it seems like they’re racing just to hit the deadline for launch as it is.

It’s just common sense. If you disabled them, other players in the match who had them turned on would still watch the intros, while you just sat there with a blank screen or whatever

Same, I wish it was back like H3 when they jus loaded us up in that joint.

Not necessarily the case. They could be looking at a view of the map like how it’s done in H4/H2A, which happens after the loading screen phase. Anyway, they are probably using these intros and outros as an opportunity to inject more player customization options in the form poses (intros) and stances (outros).

Or… you could just sit there to a countdown while others have the shortcut animation. Common sense. In a game that has heavy features for you to customize your experience, this is hardly a task.

Yeah they probably are, it is another way to monetize the game to earn more revenue. Anyways, it takes like 5 seconds, I don’t see an issue with that

Regardless you’re still getting into the game the same time as the other players. I don’t see how this changes anything

Maybe you should reread the conversation here. No one is complaining about the wait. They are complaining it is cringe and dumb to watch intro animations and throws off the mood. I prefer the countdown as do others. If you still can’t understand this, I don’t know what to tell you. But I am out of posts for the day after this. So, yeah.

It really doesn’t matter. It takes 5 seconds to watch the intros. If it’s cringe to watch then zone it out for 5 seconds, that’s probably a novel idea. It doesn’t make any sense to add in all these options for something so minor. Like if were gunna have a toggle to add the timers instead of the intros, Legacy H1 - 3 players can ask to not have the intros altogether.

I personally thought the intros were cool at first, then after 5 games or so it was just repetitive. So I zoned it out.

343 says they want to emphasize player expression and let you make your spartan yours so its only logical that they let you choose your own animation. my spartan doesn’t shadowbox before a fight lol

indeed, is for you to showoff your customs, and to show everyone else what you have.

Well, if this would be the biggest problem with Halo Infinite, I would be happy and cheering, praising the name of 343.

But here we are, having really problems with lack of content that is not there when the game releases like forge and co-op [which every Halo since 3 got when they were released - except Halo 5 lol]

I loved the intro.

Seeing the team spartans get all hype just to trip over there feet and die in the starting animation was some funny -Yoink-

As long as we don’t have to go through a full 12 Spartan pre-game beauty and posing contest in BTB I’m okay with it lol. The end of game animation does need some work however, looked like failed boyband album covers in the flight.

Yeah, if 343 let us switch off that option we can see a blank screen or some other things like a countdown or something like that.

It’s really not a big deal
