Guess we’ll have to wait a bit longer then, eh? There is something to not being immediately gratified at every turn…like enjoying other game modes.

Yes somehow people were able to enjoy the variety of game modes in past Halos without breaking the game into piecemeal chunks to be released months at a time. All this tells me is that 343 mismanaged their time when it came to game modes.
Infection is probably the most played custom game and they still don’t have a word on release… smh
I can wait I got other games to play and a team to manage

Yeah, the Update doesn’t come out until Friday night, and 343i confirmed that Infection was in the works as of January.

Just because they didn’t list “new gamemode(s)” in the blurb about the GoM update, doesn’t mean that it isn’t coming in the Update. While your speculation is valid, it is as far from confirmation as you can get.

They never said that they won’t, they just didn’t say that they will. Also, that community update is 11 days old, so there isn’t any “news” here.

As much as I like giving 343 the benefit of the doubt, it’s been way too long since launch for no infection. It’s kind of ridiculous at this point.

We can only hope.
If it does come out in Meridian then cool, as long as it’s done good. Im kind of expecting it in Reach though, it was fairly popular game mode in Halo: Reach, was online last week and apparently still is.
Hey, just remember that they didn’t announce that the M6D Magnum (CE) was coming in last months update until the stream a few days prior to its release. So we could very much still be getting those new game modes in early April.
