no halo4 trailer?

was anyone else suprised that we didnt see a gameplay trailer at halofest? the game is about a year away give or take a few months.
this is worrying me and has got me thinking. what engine are they using? have they made it themselves?

im disapointed by the lack of any real news from the halo4 panel. its a year away and all weve seen is big ideas and a big lack of anything to do with progamming a game!

it gives me a feeling that we’ll see this game in 2013 instead of 2012

Sorry but a year is WAY to early, have you seen the Halo 2 E3 2003 Trailer?

Pretty much everything in that trailer/gameplay was nothing compared to the finished game, what they tried to show off, didn’t make it.

I personally don’t want to be shown everything just to be saddened when it’s not there final product.

i dont want to see everything! but i do want to see something. there is nothing seen of the game, we dont even know if theyve got an engine running

Way to early! The next time I think will get anything is VGA. I can’t wait to take apart the terminals in CEA!

We got a piece of the story line.

And now I know who 343i really is.

They are making their own engine in house. And stop worrying so much. They have one of the smartest programmers on their team next to John Carmack. Her name is Corrinne Yu. She has been programming games for more than 20 years. She is incredibly gifted.

Info about her:

Amazing interviews for the tech savvy. The interviews are phenomenal:
