How many years has it been since a new Star Wars? Yet they keep their orginal score! I hope for halo 5 we hear a version of our favorite theme.
At the end of every episode of the Sprint (in the last minute) there is the new version of the theme. I’m looking forward to hear the full piece!

Exactly, when you hear the theme you automatically think HALO. As well as Pirates of the Caribbean when you hear that theme you think Pirates! Each of these themes just go so well with their movies/games it’s undeniable.

Still… that’s what Halo 4 did (unless you Count that small part before the Composer level).
I don’t think there’s been a Halo game without the Halo theme in it except maybe ODST. Halo Reach had elements of it in Tip of the Spear and Halo 4 had the gregorian chant in the level Composer (not sure what soundtrack song though) and the rest of the song was inside of 117.
Considering Kazuma Jinnouchi is doing the soundtrack and he did 117 and likely has scored all the trailers I’m sure we’ll get the theme in there somewhere.
There was also a snippet of original trilogy music in the opening cutscene to Dawn, not the prologue, one after. It’s the music that was in the opening of CE and at the start of the armoury cutscene (after the Thel’s trail) in Halo 2. And of course the variation of Never Forget in Halo 4’s credits. I hope Chief’s missions will have more original trilogy music. I don’t mind Locke’s having totally new music.

I agree, I think this is a good idea.
