So there was no new Halo trailer or any Halo news at VGX this year.
So, when do you think we will get more news?

100% agree. I found myself extremely bored most of the time. Same no Halo though. Would be nice to know their direction sooner

Yeah I agree with you. It wasn’t as good as it was the in the past years. I actually started to doze off at the end lol.
But I hope we can get some new information soon.
Yeah VGX was pretty bad. Although, the games shown were cool. A bit sad since I did post hoping for a trailer, but ah well. That means we’ll see on early next year, probably in-game multiplayer gameplay like Halo 4.
I doubt we will get anything until E3. Shame though, since 343 needs to keep the community updated on this game. It is their retribution.

I’m sure they do. But it’s not necessarily their decision. As a marketing decision it falls to what Microsoft wants to do. If they wanted to show something today, they would have. Regardless of whether it would be amazing or not, it just would have felt completely out of place.
Especially if it was amazing. Because nothing else was.
Still, I look forward to 343i’s reveal. Hope it happens soon, we’re operating on even less info than Halo 4 at this point.

In supposed Halo could of EASILY taken the spotlight then, but prob best they didn’t

Good thing that I kept my expectations down but if this means that we will have to wait like 5 more months for a little bit of info then that really sucks, I really hope that they reveal something late january or early on february.

I’d be with you on that thought, if the risk of Joel making some cringe-inducing, obviously teleprompted quip about Halo following the trailer wasn’t so high.
Halo 5 deserves a big, proper and epic reveal. The VGX this year was just an awkward mess that I and many others got second-hand embarrassment out of.
