Why? Halo 2/3 had them halo reach didn’t and failed like yoink! Come on Halo 2/3 was really successful with good gameplay because of this even BO2 has one. These forums are full of casuals so I understand why people hate it on this forum. Why didn’t Halo 4 choose to be like Halo 2/3 and not Halo reach!?
Halo 4 will search based on a hidden TrueSkill system.
It will actually do that unlike Reach which only did it in Arena.
Enough with the casual insults…

Most of the people that disagree with a halo 4 ranking system couldn’t achieve higher than a 40 on halo 3.
i miss the days when people continued playing a game because it was fun and not because of some identification of skill.

contrary to the opinion of some, Halo Reach Did not “fail like -Yoink-” Many still play it, and enjoy their experience. I know I do.

Halo 2/3 had a very strict search based off of ranks.

Reach’s skill based ranking system and search, wasn’t as strict as Halo 2/3’s, thus why it failed, also Reach failed for more reasons than just the ranking system, IE: Armor Lock, Bloom, questionable campaign, Fire fight, and the list goes on.

Didn’t have Ranking of any kind, and it’s a million times better and funner than Halo 2 and 3 combined in my opinion. Why? Because there was none of this “I’m better than you” or “I’m a competitive gamer and your a casual gamer” Bull crap.

Didn’t even have a Player vs Player MP, which in turn didn’t have a ranking system.
Also, please people, take the stat flaming and stick it where the sun don’t shine, if you can’t post without stat flaming, then you shouldn’t have an opinion on this, cause you’re one of the causes of the lack of a visible skill based ranking system.

That’s all thats come out of these rank system threads is stat flaming. The mods are gonna be working overtime.
Has it come down to this.
If a number in a video game, is the only thing you strive for in life, its time to get your priorities right.
Plain and simple, its over. Let it die, not amount of complaining is going to have them relent. These are not your parents,to where, if you whine and cry enough, they will give into you.
For you younger ones out there, let be a life lesson. Life is unfair, and its only going to get tougher.
If you are an “adult” and you are still mad/upset about it, grow up and take it like men/women.
