but seriously, i hope i don’t lose power for too long though but i won’t getting halo 4 till thanksgiving. anyways this should be the last thing on your mind, op…
Im worried about the people who will lose their possessions.
Im worried about the people who will lose their houses.
Im worried about the people who will lose their loved ones.
Im worried about the people who will lose their life.
Halo 4 shouldnt be a concern at all in the wake of this storm, because from the looks of it it might be quite serious. A power outage would be bad but its on the very bottom of my list of concerns right now for the people who will be affected by this hurricane.
Depending on your area the hurricane will probably not be able to drive a power outage for too long.
> I’m not too worried. I don’t think the power would be out that long.
Lol, the Mississippi gulf coast says hi.
It’s a hurricane, they are highly unpredictable, capable of producing large storm swells, winds in excess of 120mph, tornados, hail, and massive damages to roads, power grids and most other infrastructure.
With that being said they are rarely as bad as the news media makes them out to be. Prepare for the absolute worst but hope for the best.

I’m on Long Island so I’m in the North-East part of the storm which is the worst when it comes to wind.
I’m worried about that stuff, but I mentioned Halo 4, because it’s something that I’m really looking forward to, and I bet a lot of other people in the North-East are too.
Video Games offer a escape from reality and in such a bad situation they can be a very good thing.
I hope Sandy isn’t as bad as the media is saying, and that power isn’t out for such a long time.
I also am hoping that it goes out to sea, but that more then likely won’t happen.

In all honesty OP and everyone, power outage, your way of life, and other circumstances will always matter over a video game. Even if its been out for months, the power to stay warm for example is something more important…

I should have did a better job on the OP . .
I know it’s just a game, but it’s something that I am looking forward to, and a lot of other people are looking forward to.
Video Games allow escapism, that’s how I look at them when there is bad stuff going on in the real world.
Hopefully it won’t be bad like the media is saying, I know I’m gonna lose power and that trees will come down, but Halo 4 is a game I’m very much looking forward to owning and playing.
I really hope power is restored sooner rather then later.

Thanked for reality check AND SpongeBob reference.

Been there, done that. I live in south Florida (I’ve been without power for month), it was like that for me every year until Katrina. Now it’s like you get a break and the other states get to feel your pain. Not that that’s a good thing but that is how it seems, we haven’t been hit by a serious hurricane in years. They just kinda avoid us now.
Thank bajeezus I live in the plains area of Canada. But on the flip side I still have to worry bout nasty winter storms, Black ice, Minus 40 degree Celsius weather, snow as high as my waist, and Wind… Well You gotta make trade offs sometimes.
I hope for the best for all the people in the path of Sandy. Bunker down and stay safe!

I hope I don’t lose power for that long . .
I personally think it should be a crime for power to be out for such a long time, and that all overhead cables should be in sealed underground tubes.
Hopefully power will be back on for everyone by November 6th and everyone getting Halo 4 on November 6th can play it then.
