Do you think that in this game if you are not good with the Pistol then should you play only Warzone or simply don’t play this game?
Edit: I’m good with Pistol guys, I placed Diamond Slayer and Arena, but I’m just worried about how could Halo catch new people.
God I hope not. I don’t want to be relegated to one game type…
no i dont
People seem to think the AR is OP. Try using that.
Pistol Skillz or -Yoink- lol j/k. Practice makes Perfect
I think they should stay in the lower divisions of Arena until they improve st the game.
These players that are open about bring terrible, yet the game believes them to be diamond tier or above are just burdens to their teammates.
Yes. Competitive game modes should only be played and enjoyed by people who are the best and have a specific loadout weapon mastered already.
You can easily get away with using autos on most of the maps unfortunately.

Hell i’m a burden to my bronze level teammates lol
No, I would play a game I paid for even if I were bad. If you play arena, you would hopefully get placed in the correct division (we know the system ain’t perfect but it’s getting better). Anywho, have fun. Even if it says competitive or ranked.
Plus you can do some damage if you play with other weapons as well. It’s not all pistol or go home.
On a good aim day I prefer the open maps and areas of maps that let me use a pistol to kill an enemy who is using an AR, but in the tighter areas the ar,storm rifle, and smg require the magnum user to hit every shot or die. If you aren’t accurate with the pistol, stay close to tight areas. Lure the pistol guys in to the areas where your weapon is better. Also the BR is easier than the magnum. I think most maps have one or two laying around.
I’m not talking for me, I was placed Diamond, I’m not bad at all with Pistol, just wondering for new players
hard to say, pretty sure you can 5 shot someone with a pistol faster than an AR can kill you in any situation. Of course, i’m assuming a perfect 5 shot kill, and no melee soooooo… but honestly, i think its more about having nerves of steel in the face of getting sprayed by an AR. Of course thats just me…

Pretty much this. The only way to outkill an AR at optimum range is to have zero flinch and to hit every single shot with the pistol as fast as the weapon can fire. That’s not an easy thing to do, and more often than not people who haven’t practiced with the pistol or who haven’t been playing for years to develop that kind of nerve are going to die on the spot. More to the point, the BR has a slightly faster kill time than the pistol does, and the DMR is even faster than either one with the tradeoff being slightly difficult aiming compared to those two. Not saying that the pistol is bad, it’s not, but it certainly isn’t the game ending weapon that the Halo CE one is. It’s a good utility weapon that’s useful in a variety of roles, but that’s about it.

All the weapons seem pretty balanced, it’s all about the ranges you use them at. The ar is decent as medium to short range but it’ll get wrecked at close range by an smg. Same way that the br will beat the magnum at longer range. Still though precision weapons are only as good as the shooter
it’s not quite -Yoink-, you just have to play to your strengths, stick to smaller areas so the AR is more effective, try to push for power weapons like rockets and use those instead, maybe try vehicle play, etc. of course, being a poor shot with precision weapons will hinder you pretty greatly, so i wouldn’t expect the majority of these players to get past silver ranking, but that’s what practice is for!
depends more on the game type…so don’t play SWAT. It is a really good weapon, there is a reason there is no spawn variants of the pistol in Warzone, if it was any better the OPs question could only be answered with yes.

No.
Its like saying “If you are bad at X game” then stop playing, people can play the game if they want, whether they are good or bad at it, if they are having fun then power to them.
I think that AR using people can do good enough, and in time they’ll figure out how to use the pistol.

According to the statistics tracked by Halo5arena, the higher your CSR gets the less people kill with the AR. You’ll see the statistics under “wep use by CSR” on the right part of the webpage.
AR is the noob cannon, Pistol is how you get kills in higher CSR’s. If the AR was OP, it’d be used more in higher CSR, but that’s just not the case.
