No gender select option?

In the games Spartans have always had sexual dimorphism. Even Blue team, who are Spartan 2s. We’ve seen every generation in game, and they’ve all been depicted with noticeable dimorphism. Well, I guess technically we haven’t seen female Orion project members, just Johnson. But they had less augmentations, so it’s likely they’d have dimorphism as well.

Guess we better get rid of all armor then, means more expression

Maybe for the things you can’t see, but we can see the body types. Our Spartans currently can’t be super buff or super feminine. We can see their bodies. Their hair could anything, but not their bodies. Giving us more body type options isn’t literally giving us more options.

its not limiting in infinite’s case, its actually pointless to have those, since theres nowhere to show this off for the multiplayer spartan, it would be a nice novelty, but as of right now, pointless.

I think you’re confusing what we meant by wanting more “options”

what is meant is that more “body types” ie the shape of the body, some want more options that we can use to combine with the voice, why? because the body type is a part of the look, unlike the rest that is essentially behind the helm that we never see, Body Type is essentially more shapes to use foundational, so that if you want, in your head, you can make the face of the spartan you’re playing as.

And also in game Spartan 2s have dimorphism. It’s only in non-game adaptations where they haven’t. Considering we’re talking about a game I don’t really see the relevance or Legends.

granted that was also in the Spartan IV typical Armour too.

And how would make a gender slider change that? The only way for this to appease everyone is box having the gender be a blank text box.

Yes

No somethings been lost in translation.

What a reach. The context of the whole thread is what’s under the armor.

Hey youre the one who said less options and ce customization was better

Positive. If you are referring to the Halo: CE comment. You don’t need a slider to say your spartan is a female or whatever you want them to be. You can just say they are and you wouldn’t be wrong

alright im gonna clarify this now, we don’t want a gender select system, since the system that is there, the body & Voice system, is fine, a great foundation for more combinations, what is wanted is more options for either body types or voices, since some of us find one or the other a little lacking in variety, we just simply want “more bits to play with” when it comes to customisation, think of it like lego pieces so to speak.

we are not asking for a replacer, simply additions to what’s there already. sorry for causing confusion, since I feel the point was lost.

am I making sense?

I disagree. Plenty of people would feel more represented with more options. I know I would.

As for the rest, then obviously this have isn’t for you. Most people don’t want this to go back to Halo CE, and neither does 343. People don’t want no options like you do. I don’t know anyone else who wants just colors and no other options.

And what were the options for gender or voice in Halo: CE?

None and it was worse than every other halo game

Everyone would assume every player was male then. And our Spartans wouldn’t only represent men. No thanks.

They want no options. They want us to go back to CE level customization. Even if they understand you, they aren’t going to agree with anything you say. It’s useless to try and reason with them.

OP does. But never actually clarified what the options would be or what they would like to see.

I totally get what you’re saying and i agree. However OP wants a gender slider. That’s where I see the issue.
