It feels like the game was so rushed they decided to cut the female body type for time on the basis of the majority of the player base being guys. Given the Yoroi core as you mentioned it stands as a testament to that rushed development.

Ironically its Yoroi that got me as deeply invested in this topic as I am, so yep.
Wasn’t rushed. It was designed this way. Remeber the store was there on day 1. The way the Spartans look are 100% on purpose

For the bodies to be androgynous, they need to have characteristics of both, but the current silhouettes of all 3 say dude. Take anime for example, characters who have their gender unknown or in question have features of both male and female and you can argue for either. Where as in Infinite they have no what you’d call feminine features of a silhouette. Maybe if the armour fit better on the skinny model it could work, but currently I’ve got to class it as a failed attempt.

This I agree with. It’s ganna take more than that to make a spartan look feminine. Which brings me back to Halo 5 female Spartans. Perfection. Maybe too perfect because there were actual lobbies in custom games browser where people crouched up and down really fast to see the butt jiggle

While I’m no dev I’d imagine modeling, rigging, animating, and creating 1st person assets is quite a bit of work. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was scrapped then declared “designed as intended”. I just think that with the contracting problems that 343i had where they were bleeding experienced staff, and getting them replaced with newbies in an endless cycle of no fault of their own we are now receiving a half baked product.
Without a doubt the shop was and still remains as priority one for any kind dev resource allocation.

exactly by removing this it actually becomes more inclusive because no is being oogled, male or female.
Feminine doesn’t have to be thin stomached. They could be thinner shoulders, wider hips, rounder butt, maller feet, thinner waist, less bulky arms, smaller hands, there’s plenty of differences between the average male and female.
The augmentations were supposed to enhance everything about the human body, so male features would be more male and feminine features would be more feminine. It’s supposed to be peak performance, no roided out. Think people that go to the gym or athletes rather than say weight lifters.

No. Attraction is a reality. You can’t remove something because you feel people fee fees are getting hurt. This is why we live in the world we live in today because everything is too “safe”. Women have curves. And a lot of them do. Just because someone can make some comments or look at the Spartans in another way then intended doesn’t mean we should remove reality. Sparatns have two legs and arms right? Even tho it’s a video game it’s based on reality right? That’s the point here

Once again Spartan IVs are physical augmented humans that are basically at the peak of human conditioning. I doubt females would fit the traditional feminine architype.
Exactly. If you go to any athlete all males and females have all their features even more noticeable. The peak of men of the broadest shoulders. The peak of women would have the most defined Cruves. It’s just reality

It doesn’t make sense lore-wise. You won’t be seeing any extra THICC female Spartan IVs. Devs killed two birds with one stone.

They still would. Their thighs would get bigger, ang the glutes. The breasts would probably shrink though as you don’t want them getting in the way so more than likely they do something about that. And we’ve already seen feminine 2s, 3s and 4s. Linda & Kelly, Kat, and Palma & the women of Osiris.
I think youre confusing the Eras, spartan IVs are the best handpicked from the UNSC’s military, essentially ODST 2.0 in a sense, the augmentations were also not as much as the previous programs, especially lesser than the II’s, which Chief is from.
