You will not see new game modes or playlists until either 343i or MS have decided that they have milked warzone and req paks for every single dime they can get out of it. This is why it was so bare bones at release. To get as many as they can playing WZ and sell 300 scout hogs and 83 Athlon armors. This game being incomplete at launch was by design and it was done to make more $ They put the word free on thier “dlc” and people eat it up and turn around and deffend them for it.
Or until someone at 343 or MS see how big of deal it really is theu add these things. But i wouldn’t hold your breath.

Sure seems like it. I completely bought in to the whole Bonnie Ross thing about how 343 cared so much about Halo. But we can’t even play KOTH? Seriously? And 3 missions for Blue Team? I could go on but why bother… It really does seem to only be about the money. Which I understand btw. But it is so shortsighted. And they seem to be so lacking in faith of their product and fanbase!

Cmon bro. What lore fan wouldn’t love to play as a completely new, obscure, under qualified team for 80% of a main title campaign. SIV with one failed misson made public are the future brah. Who better to hunt chief then 2 unknowns and a guy who let a single elite destroy an entire colony epicenter. “Buck is the exception here” And who needs game types? Theres warzone… BTB plus firefight but only with 3 AI enemies. …Plus you get all these cool skins this time around. I mean who doesn’t want 15 types of MK 6 other than the one chief wears.

I haven’t spent a single dime other than the initial 60… Having a blast playing Warzone and slowly unlocking REQs, playing with my buddies in Arena. The extra monthly maps are a bonus. Are there gamemodes I would like to have? Sure. But I think claiming they are all about the money is a little bit of a stretch. I get bored, play some Tomb Raider, and jump back in.

But how bored would you get IF you had more maps/game types? That is the problem. More time is being spent on unnoticeable personal aesthetics that people pay $ for then things that will enhance game play and promote population. Really simple. Did you get bored of previous halo titles as quickly and move to a different game? When you plaued previous titles did you aim for a specific armor set or was it luck of the draw? When you went for a certain commendation did you know wjat you’d get for it? If you paid for DLC did ypu know that you would get dev quality maps?
There are so many completeness who lay games that they know a good portion will spend 100s of $ to “collect them all pokiemon” to complete thier inventory. There have been countless tjreads of people spending 1000+ only to have 5 skins for everything and one forge map to be released the next month.
