No FUN playlist in my opinion

So im an ok player.
I start up my infinity slayer game when i come on halo 4.
Every match i get puts me against tryhard MLG’s who are here to win win all the time.
I go into FFA throwback.
Every match i get puts me against tryhard MLG’s who are here to get as many unfrigginbelievables as possible.
I go into Flood.
Not fun, so i leave before the game starts.

Where’s living dead. Where is infection? DO NOT say flood is infection. Flood is terrible. Flood is the worst gametype in history were being a zombie takes no skill, and there is no way you can have high sprees / multikills as a human anymore.

Where’s multi team. This playlist was the best. 3V3V3V3. Everyone was relaxed, and there was no need for ultimate tryharding, we all enjoyed the game.

Where’s action sack. This is THE best playlist. The most social playlist their is, and a large proportion of people leaving H4 to play other games is the noobs. No offence to them, but they don’t like joining games, getting destroyed and losing. All day long. This playlist was fun to relax in and was different.

Where’s grifball. Come on, it’s in custom game but not MM? Grifball was the greatest in reach. Get 3 tryhard mates in and spawnlock? Get back at the pro’s who were spawnlocking you by winning? This held a lot of reach’s population back in the day, and we want it back.

Where’s rumble pit. FFA throwback. Regicide. These aren’t fun. Regicide you are the king on 295 points with “max bounty” and then a guy on 260 points picks up the win. There’s no drive to go for the king, as everyone goes for everyone. Throwback is pointless aswell. FFA objective is meant to be one off in every few rumble pit options. With juggernaut. Where are these?

Where’s the “non of the above” option? Seriously? I don’t want to play Haven, Solace and Abandon on flood, but i cant change my vote or vote for non of the above. It’s stupid!

Halo 5 is going to have a lot less sales IF it ever comes out.

Boo-hooing about sucking at Flood and not being able to farm kills? Good lord.

Wait for it to be in rotation. 343i is doing rotation playlists momentarily to gauge which the community enjoys most. Too many playlists = too divided population.

I do want a Slayer FFA, so moderately agreed.

Seems superfluous since you have 3 choices.

Im only playing BTB…my only concern is the teams im constantly paired with. Seems the higher rankers are paired up against the low rankers. Unfortunately, Im a higher ranker and i constantly fall on the “sucky” teams.

Every playlist in Halo 4 has an invisible true skill system associated with it. So after a while you will be permanently placed with people who are intelligent. You will no longer find FishGnomler576 and his 3 guests driving a warthog into the hill side.

I got a high spree the second time I played infection. It’s actually really easy to get kills as a human. You must be doing it wrong. Then again I don’t find Flood/Zombies/Infection fun at anyways.

So because you are an inferior player at competitive game types they shouldn’t exist? It’s players like you that have destroyed this once great competitive game.

Even though I kind of agree with you and I feel your pain I must say that it is people like you who caused halo to turn out this way. Halo has always been a game that took a lot of skill. Yes the trueskill works alot better than it did in reach and than I thought I would but it still doesn’t match a VISIBLE RANKING SYSTEM. You guys didn’t want to have Ranked and Social playlists, there you have it. We(competitive/tryhards) warned you that this would happen. Make the game all around social and we’re gonna destroy average halo players. If there was -Yoink!- ranked playlist you wouldn’t have to deal with us, maybe run into us a few times in social playlists. That’s it.

OP, I agree. If it isn’t broken, dont fix it. Notice how Slayer, Big Team, and Swat have the most people playing? Because maybe the old standards are the best? These new gametypes are trash, by the way “Bowser132”, so are you.

I completely agree with the OP.

I don’t know why there are no playlists that don’t track TruSkill. Sometimes, I don’t want to try hard. Sometimes, I just want to hop in vehicles all day on Valhalla and not worry about every anti-vehicle weapon on the map bringing swift death upon me.

This is why we so desperately need a “Ranked/Competitive” and “Social” hopper division. I don’t always want to compete with same-skilled players. It gets boring having to be on the top of my game EVERY DAMN TIME.

Seriously. I just want a social game to -Yoink- around in sometimes!

how is this even harrasment thats the promblem with kids today they are wuss they can’t take a little push and you know what they call it harrassment. Harrassment is someone continuing to keep on pushing or shoving someone just cause he says the truth doesnt mean he doesnt need to be punch in the throat so why dont you get of halo and go do your homework

Actually it was, maybe you should try reading the entire thread before you make a remark about something not intended for you. Furthermore, you called said person bad too…when you have a -k/d…so you can I would be deeply appreciative if you would refrain from speaking. too. As for me having homework, Nah, been there done that, passed. Some of the “kids” on the game and forums aren’t kids, but adults with rational minds that dont need to belittle someone else because they complain about a game THEY spent their money for. We can take this ingame though if you like…it’s not personal. Fact of the matter is half you nitwits who call people bad, are really the bad ones.

There does need to be a ranked/social split. I don’t think I have ever seen numbers this bad in either of the Halos I have played. It’s because of the blending of everyone into one pot.

I don’t want to face Nerdy and his MLG wannabe friends every game if I just want to play a couple of games to relax. And if I actually want to get better and test myself, playing against poor Newby doesn’t help me one bit. We need the 1-50 visible rankings back. Who cares if they hurt someone’s feelings? I’m pretty sure the game is rated M and no one of age to buy and play the game IE the game’s target audience will get offended if they have a low number. And we also need a screw around social playlist, where people who just want fun without trying can spend an hour or two.

I have to agree. These types of players kill a good expierence and honestly destroy any chances of fun if you are stuck in a game with them.

And its like why? Maybe less then 1% of the video game world even cares about that stuff. You can find a glitch or exploit in a game, thats great, wow, yippie, good for you.

Just do not see how someone gets any enjoyment by doing that or could ever consider it skill.

Anybody deriding the OP’s concerns is a complete moron. As a competitive player myself, I fully understand the need for the game to cater to casual players (as long as it doesn’t take away from competitive play in the process).

OP, the up-and-coming ranked playlists will probably alleviate your fears. You can play against players who have the same motivation/skill as you. Also, most of the “MLG tryhards” will be in the ranked playlists, so if you decide to go play in a social playlist there will be a lot less of them as opposed to now.

Also, I’ve found Infinity BTB and Dominion to be quite casual. Regicide is usually casual. Infinity slayer is hit-and-miss.
