In my opinion Halo 5 suffered from (among other things) having a static experience for the first couple months at launch because there was no Forge mode to compensate creativity, and now we are due to repeat that cycle for what I would assume given the recent Inside Infinite is a 6 - 9 month wait for the mode to be added, custom games are the most enjoyable aspect of Halo to me & it’s pretty disappointing for this to be the case again.
At the very least I hope to see a custom games browser launched alongside Forge.
