No Flood!

That’s probably the only thing that ticks me off a bit :frowning:

The Flood was so awesome and so biologically interesting, also i loved seeing them infect other species and i enjoyed watching the process happen…its SO cool!!

I hope the Flood comes back!

That too!

I guess nobody at 343 remembered a key point about Halo: Primordium’s plot.

Don’t fear bro. I am almost 100% positive we will see their return sometime in the reclaimer trilogy. You couldn’t have a game involving the forerunners without the flood!

Halo 5 and 6.

I don’t see why the effects can’t be seen in Halo 4. Requiem is just asking to be Floodified.

Requiem may be floodified in halo 5 and 6…
Dont forget. Unlike the original trilogy, Halo 4 is built around a 3 story ark from day one.
Imagine a legendary ending, with a flood spore floating through the sky or the silhouette of an infection form.

Something to get us pumped for the future.

It’d be pretty weak to be still on Requiem for two more games. And really, a Halo game where Chief doesn’t blow up a Forerunner installation would be pretty disappointing.

That would be pretty exciting. Its becoming repetitive. Blowing up everything is ridiculous. And come on Cobra. A cannon loving god like you should know better. What conceivable good is there in Chief destroying something as useful and important as a shield world.

If it’s Floodified…kinda serves no purpose anymore. I’m being half-sarcastic in the previous post. Honestly, knowing there are two more games makes the idea of setting hard to make. When you have one game to speculate on, it’s easier to think of the setting for the next game, but knowing in advance that two more exist is frustrating.

I realize we are currently speaking of a hypothetical halo game.
In the actual halo 4. It is NOT floodified. So destroying it = pointless.
Perhaps Requiem becomes floodified. And assuming we see precursors in 5 or 6. Requiem will be destroyed then (when it actually serves a purpose) taking the whole enchilada down.

Seems to me then that the new trilogy will be centered around this one Shield World. I’d like to go galactic in the next few games.

Fret not my fellow flood followers(I wanted a bit of alliteration)! Frankie said that you will not be FIGHTING the flood. He never said you would not see them in Halo 4. I also believe that the last 2 Halo games (5 and 6) will probably have more flood than you can dream of.
