Balancing sprint with the shield tie is nice, but I think it would be good if players could be pulled out of a sprint if they are shot at. It would probably remove the problem of frantic skirmish avoidance that came up in H4 whilst also giving players a way to move around the maps a bit faster.
I personally would rather there were no sprint function at all, but hey.

Charge is a redundant and likely ill-fated idea to begin with (it’s a melee after a sprint). You have a good point with slide, though. Perhaps there is desprint, but not deslide.

Charge will be difficult to pull off successfully with thruster being in the game, I like it more than sliding as of now.

Which makes it more impotent than melee when it is literally just a melee after sprint. I like the idea, but as things stand it serves no specific utility.
