Well I had the flaming helmet after buying the legendary edition of halo reach but i havent played in a while and now i dont have it so. How do i get it back?
Could you be a little more specific? Has it disappeared from your ‘armour effects’ tab in the armoury?
The flaming helmet is still there but I have to buy it to use it.

You don’t have to buy it, it’s not coded into the game to be purchased.

my brother and I bought the halo reach legendary edition (you know, the giant box with the statue)
and I started playing it again but now i dont have the flaming armor effect that came with the legendary edition. At first I thought I was mistaken because i havent played in so long but than i looked up the contents of the package on amazon and it said “and the game includes an exclusive, multiplayer Spartan armor effect - a flaming helmet.”
I thought the flames were available for purchase in the armory but I was wrong.

Go to amazon and check and see if you bought a used legendary edition pack. If you did, the previous owner might’ve used the code and thrown it away. If your lucky and it has the same option on ebay, you can check the “item not as described” box and send it back. If you had it for a very long time, there’s nothing we can do.

press the xbox botton
go to account management
download history
search for your flaming helmet
download again
Are you redeeming the code for it? It should be inside the actual Halo Reach box.
Also, go to the armoury > armour effects and see if you can wear it.

As suggested, if you used the code to get it originally go to download history and try re-download it, if that fails I suggest a call to support.
