Come on. We were all looking forward to the fist of rukt but we get an orange gravity hammer that Tartarus “supposedly” used, which we know is not true. I won’t judge until it releases, but would it have been hard just to copy and paste the halo 2A version? I don’t know coding and stuff so I won’t go all ape -Yoink-, it’s just a bit of a disappointment.

Edit 2: looks like Tartarus’ gavel was a reward to other brutes. Still kinda dissapointing though.

Yet they could add the halo 2 br and ce magnum. And they are bringing back the Plasma Rifle.

lmao its like some people think 343i isn’t lazy.
To be honest it would have looked quite ugly and out of place. In my opinion, this hammer looks a lot cooler.
I’m just happy that Tartarus has his mark on this game. :3

Ofcourse its not that easy. Even if they were to port over the model itself, and they wouldn’t, they would have to do HUD adjustments, and a bunch of coding to get it to work, and they would have to do Q/A and work to polish it to eliminate glitches and make it as balanced and as fun to use as possible. Fist of Rukt would essentially function as a whole new weapon, and other then last month they’ve been releasing a single new weapon a month. Need I remind everyone in this thread that this is the first Halo game to ever receive new weapons in its DLC, and that the DLC is free? Something like this will take time, if they ever get around to it at all. They can’t produce content for Halo 5 forever, and they have to make trade offs, so who knows if it will ever come? Don’t expect it, but be gracious, excited and grateful if you do get it.
I would prefer something more fun, such as the Golfclub, Banhammer or Foehammer.

I said I wouldn’t judge until I have it and that I don’t really know coding. A lot of us were just expecting the fist of rukt instead of an orange gravity hammer. I’m grateful were getting it, I’d just be more grateful if it was the fist of rukt. It might function similar so I’m hoping for that.

It seems too many have had the banhammer lol.
My biggest issue with it is that it’s a mythic weapon and that tier is usually reserved for unique weapons to characters in the universe. And this was not a weapon unique for Tartarus or even a weapon he used, but a weapon that his lieutenants that we don’t even know used.
I felt positive that the Fist of Rukt would be a req. It was a perfect cantidate for a legendary req! It already has a backstory and a place in the halo story.
