Ok I know the post comes off as angry, but I’m just super confused, is fiesta missing from the beta simply because it’s a beta? I also noticed that Infection seems to be MIA as well. I’m assuming these modes will show up by Christmas time and it’s just because this is a beta right now. But can someone please tell me if I’m being paranoid about these modes not coming, just need to get some confirmation if I’m crazy or not.

They maybe rotating playlists which honestly I think is better.

I’m sure the modes will come eventually but yeah, it’s super deflating to once again have to wait for fan favorite modes. If I remember correctly 343 weren’t even going to have Infection in Halo 5 before the community demanded it, so it’s entirely fair to be disappointed and/or worried.
I want to play Fiesta in customs tho

Yeah but this is also a beta and 343 DID confirm that Infinite would have Infection.

Well it may not be a mode the game ships with not sure what to tell you. It could also be because its a “beta”.
Well it is a sort of full release for the PVP so surprised it doesn’t have more game modes. Not a beta since that’s what flights are for. This is why I tend to dislike live service games. I guess more modes will come out when campaign comes out.

Yeah it’s really disappointing. Infection is the only PvP mode that I enjoy.

This beta has “all day one maps and modes enabled” according to 343 themselves. I’m hoping, against my better judgement, that they don’t delay ready-to-launch staple game modes just to time them with a new season.
Going through the custom game options, I have absolutely no idea why they don’t allow random primary and secondary weapons as they have with all previous titles. Disappointing and mystifying.
Hopefully, this is just a careless oversight that will be corrected at launch.

This is what I don’t get. Fiesta should never have been it’s own mode in Halo 5, Infection Fiesta is one of the most entertaining modes out there, and when Fiesta became it’s own mode, infection fiesta died.
Because Infection is boring and Fiesta isnt

You do realize I’m referring to Infection Fiesta customs right? It was never in matchmaking. Not everything referring to game types revolves around matchmaking.

Have you even actually played Infection Fiesta, like actually played it or are you just projecting your idea of base infection onto every mode that’s associated with Infection?
