There are quite a few female spartan lines, they’re soley used by the bots, and body type 1, is the most feminine spartan body type.

Relax, is a game, realism is pretty much inexistent and it has already been made before, if you don’t like it don’t pick it, but don’t take out the option for those who do like it…

And I don’t disagree is the more closer one, but you can also agree that there are no longer more feminine looking bodies for Spartans like those of Kat, Palmer or Vale…
Its no different than aliens fireteams gender neutral slider for the body type. Lord forbid our Spartans have muscles or curves lol

I don’t think they need to be like them. Maybe they’ll be different on the Mark V armour core?

Yes, that is exactly what we want. Customization is pointless if we can’t have characters we actually want to customize.
I don’t want over sexulized female spartans, but you should be able to discern a male from a female spartan at a glance. I’m more comfortable having a female character in games as it suits who I am. I like to project myself into the game. I want to look at my spartan and go ‘that’s me’.
It is funny how they keep saying how this will be ‘your’ spartan and ‘your story’, yet they don’t have a discernable female option?
Sure you will be able to change to a female spartan voice, but that make me think, wow I can hear a grunt now and then when I get shot at. You could argue that one of the body types is slimmer, and I have been using it, but when we are running around murdering eachother you can barely tell, and it’s only really the tummy that’s changed.
It’s a real shame since I was looking forward to the customization for this Halo that’s going to be the Halo for the ‘Next 10 years’.
And please don’t say ‘smaller females would make it unfair, as there hitbox will be smaller’. No. This is why they have it so the armour barely changes size:
Because it’s easier to churn out cosmetics for a single body type (Now im talking about the size of the armour, as it is the same for all 3 body types) than 2 or 3.
I don’t have a problem honestly if my armor looks cool then it’s good for me, but that’s my opinion.

I thinks its important for EVERYONE to feel represented and Infinite tried to do that by adding the body type system which while it did add some more inclusive body types it excluded a group that has been physically represented since Reach. I understand the notion of not wanting to oversexual the characters but theres still ways to make a better distinction.
For those who say there are feminie options. While there may be an option (body type one) the change is small from body type 0. You can’t even tell body types unless they’re standing still and even then it can be a challenge. It needs to be slightly more defined but not by much.
The real issue I believe is the armor not being adjusted to the body type. An organization on the scale of UNSC would have the money to outfit Spartans with proper gear. While spartans may have increased in numbers they are still a rarity. I also want to point out having armor to big or small realistically would affect your combat and safety. By adjusting armor like Reach it would make body types more distinct which I believe is a part of if not the major issue. I don’t think it would affect hitboxes much there wasn’t much of a difference in the previous games.
I think it could also be the mk7 core design. If we get a halo 5 core I think body type 1 could look more feminine. Mk7 core does look bulky.
This is an issue that needs open conversation. Sure there are people who get out of hand, but you got to ignore that to have a good argument/coversation on issues. This is something I have seen people talk about all over, but conversation never last for various reasons.
