I think there is when you select “Customization” and go to change your spartan size (i think the size is referred to male and female)

I think the problem here lies in, there is no female voice, at least in the preview. Body types are fine as long as there’s variety and a type that can fit a feminine shape. Every Spartan, even your own at this point, seems to have a randomized male voice. And, the voice is easily recognized as being male. I’d even settle for no voice or something androgynous.

I mean, i would be very surprised if there wasn’t an option to choose voices, i hope they work the same as the bodies and it’s just a bunch of voices that aren’t gendered tho, if there’s any need to gender the player’s spartan (which would be surprising given it’s all just multiplayer) then pronouns should be a separate option.
Edit: also i’m 90% sure the spartan voice is supposed to be in the profile section tbh, the one that’s not accessible.

The second body is obviously female.
We know voices will be a customisation option, we just can’t access it yet.
Expressing your gender and having women representation in gaming is a huge deal. This affects all of us, and we should be coming together on this issue instead of being rude to the person addressing this.
Also, to 343i. It is NOT okay to make us women feel like we are the “second option” in your games. Please fix.
Don’t worry they will have the female body variants at launch like all other halo games they have to due to the wide variety of players if they don’t well that’s going to be disappointing but I’ll still enjoy playing halo like I always have

Agreed. I think the body type is what you are looking for. They will hopefully allow people to change things to look a way they like without adding gender. If they don’t have an option that you enjoy, I would ask them for more. You would think they’d add a voice tone option too.

We would be coming together if misinformation and ignorance wasn’t why this is an issue.
First off; Body type 2 is clearly female, just because its option 2 shouldn’t upset you.
Secondly; Everybody will get to choose more individualistic through voice ect in the FULL customisation suite that comes with the actual game. Not this tech preview.

because neither of the options changes your voice from masculine to feminine as previous titles has done. Stop it with stupid assumptions.

Because the options are seperate. They’ve stated this - the voices just aren’t in this tech preview. Its not even an issue.
I agree with this, there needs to be female representation in the game. If one of the body types is suppose to be a women then why do all the voice options sound like men? I don’t think having different body types make much difference if they all sound like guys. This does not sit well with me that this early build only included bodies and male voices (of which there are plenty) by default. This is a good example of making part of your player base feel like they were an afterthought. I sincerely hope 343 reads this and takes this into serious consideration. There should be some decent body (enough of a difference that not every spartan looks the same) and voice options available for women upon release of the game. Many of replies in this feedback thread are both needlessly dismissive and patronizing. It doesn’t matter if this isn’t the type of thing we are “suppose” to be giving feedback for. Plenty of other threads are giving feedback on things of this nature and otherwise and I don’t see this kind of response to those threads.
