Has anyone found out yet if it’ll be back in halo 4
I think it was confirmed there was no fall damage in Halo 4, well at least in the E3 demo.
What I think is it was only in Reach because it took place before Halo CE.
Glad to see your spelling improved BTW.
I think there is no fall damage in H4, I don’t think it has been confirmed though.
Thanks Steve I’m really tryin harder
I want to say no fall damage, but if it is back it is most likely a toggle feature. I can think of many custom games where people want it on/off.
I’m pretty sure there will always be the “you fell to your death” scenario when you jump off a cliff, but otherwise there may or may not be fall damage in Halo 4.
Now explain me why if you fall down from a crazy distance you shouldn’t die and if a Ghost barely hits you,you should.

Bad karma.

lol
No I really don’t know, but I think there should be smaller fall damage than there was in Reach since we’re superhuman.

you do die from crazy falls ! shouldn’t get fall damage if u jump off beaver creek
so halo 4 wil not have fall damage but if u fall why high you die !

Halo games with fall damage:
Halo: Reach
Halo Combat Evolved
Halo 2
Personally I think that fall damage makes sense from a pure gameplay perspective. The idea that falling from hundreds of feet and landing on your feet with no penalty seems incredibly misbalanced to me.
I thought fall damage in Halo Reach was a good thing and I hope it is in H4 to some extent. At the very least fall damage could be limited to knocking out your shields completely leaving you vulnerable until they recharge, and that seems a fair compromise between no fall damage and the harsh fall damage from Reach.

And Halo 3, but only in the Campaign. Best seen in ‘The Covenant’ by jumping out of your Hornet during the Scarab fight.
Honestly i didnt experience much fall damage in Halo 2. The few times i have were either falling off a cliff, falling into water, and the superjump with the elevator at the beginning of “gravemind”.
I hope there is no fall damage.
