I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this, but at 4:20 (yes) of this video from Comic Con, we hear him say “Elites are not playable <mark>as of yet</mark>… <mark>right now</mark>, it’s just Spartans.”
Could this mean a possible return for the Elites in MP?
Those players have almost no idea what they are talking about… if you watch the whole video the things they say are full of inaccuracies. the player actually believes that the thruster pack has a “Flashbang” ability LOL

Hell no! Those guys had no clue what they were talking about. Prothean Vision, Scatter Gun, think they’d know if there were going to be Elites in Matchmaking?
Elites will not be returning to Multiplayer. As I was watching those videos, the more I realized the announcers were not as well informed on Halo 4 as others. They didn’t once actually say Promethian Vision correctly. I would not hold your breath for elites. They are gone in Halo 4.

Wait, one thought it was a flashbang affect?

Just watched the rest of the video and realized he thought he was the player at the top even though it clearly shows his controller connection icon on the left hand side. Not to mention the other guy was like “Look at you, you’re at the top!”

franky thought the same thing I believe, so I guess he MAY be correct about that.
I found it hilarious how those guys thought the Thruster Pack contained some sort of flash bang ability, and then they got confused about why they were killed XD

Elites could be playable in the future, that’s all they were trying to say. The likelihood people can comment about as pretty close to not happening, but in the end, its up to 343 to basically determine if its worthwhile to put into MM. As of right now, they aren’t.
