I remember reading an article. And frankie said duel wielding wont be returning. Can someone provide a link? Im searched like hell.

I do not want to search for it myself, but I can totaly 100% say that someone from 343 did say there will NOT be dual wielding. I remmember seeing it but I do not remmember where…

Don’t know how I feel about this. Not too sad though.

There hasn’t been a hard confirmation that dual wielding has been confirmed to not be in Halo 4.

The only thing is the joystick article which had said there is no dual wielding yet meaning it just might not have been revealed. However everyone assumed that meant it was out and it slowly evolved into somehow being “confirmed.”

That said it is not looking hopeful.

They only spoke of facts. Like no health packs, the BR and duel wielding. I dont agree with what it is you are saying.

Being too hopeful is just going to end with your dreams being crushed.

They said there is still no dual wielding. That could mean two things
1.) There is still no dual wielding implying a continuation of the trend from ODST and Reach.
Or
2.) There is still no dual Wielding as in it still has no been shown to the public. Meaning it could still show up in future press/public releases.

I have not seen any source clarifying what they meant so it is NOT confirmed to be in or out from what I understand.

EDIT: I don’t really care either way but I take issue with people presenting what is still speculation as fact.

I didn’t like dual-wielding but I don’t mind too much if it is back. Although it really did screw up the sandbox.

there are no health packs because you have no health bar. Since they only showed BR gameplay, I will assume most of the gameplay will be hidden from the public until E3, and most will be in very small reveals.

They spoke of it the same way they spoke of the BR and no health packs. There isnt neither will there ever be duel wielding.

I doubt it will return for Halo 4, it’s very hard to balance and introduces a lot of generally worthless weapons. Maybe, for Halo 5 or 6 when 343i feel more comfortable and know that their new evolved gameplay works, but I doubt it will be there for their first release. It adds a lot of problems and not that much to gameplay :confused:
