No DLC? Seriously?

So I own the Limited edition of Halo 4. I downloaded the crimson DLC and now I’m being told that I no longer have access to it.
This is the last straw 343 I can’t take any more of this ridiculous crap anymore. you have failed repeatedly at making this game work. Every patch you put out has made things worse.
It may be xbox live’s fault as well, but seriously. This isn’t how businesses run succesfully. After paying the insane price of the limited edition and now you’re telling me that I can no longer play the DLC, I’m done.

Goodbye Halo. It was nice knowing you, maybe I’ll come back in January if things aren’t still Yoink’d! up.

Did you, oh I don’t know, download the map pack code came with the LE so you get them for free?

Yes, I got them for free because all the Halo 4 DLC is supposed to come free with the limited edition.

Yes, it comes free with the LE. However, you have to enter the code that is given to you with the LE when you bought it to get the maps for free.

If you did and it still doesn’t work, then yeah. Something went wrong.

I entered it when I bought the game. I have the specializations. the map pack worked up until today. seriously wtf 343?

That likely means you got caught in their ‘remove it on the 18th’ net, which is yet another way to muck something up.

I would like to love H4, I really would. But this truly is a shambles. If this continues, they’ll still be patching their game and ignoring the H4 community when H6 comes out.

Don’t nerdrage about it. If you got the LE you gotta download it from the in-game marketplace from Halo 4’s main menu. Did you try looking there?
