Yes totaly, I am seeing these idiot kids that are like lvl 35 and they have like a day played but they suck. They really should have thought it through more. But what do you expect. its not Bungie.
They are going to put a skill system in. Just like halo 2 and 3 had, but they didnt put it in at the start because they want to see how it works and do tweaks to it so it actually works good. Hopefully they add it soon though. Its all behind the scenes for now.

You realize Bungie didn’t have that in for the Halo Reach multiplayer either right? At least 343 is going to implement the skill level system.

Maybe take a good look at who made Halo: Reach. If it wasn’t for that game, chances are you’d still have your precious ranks.
the one problem is that the halo 3 system etc caused major problems for the fact it was boring eventally 1 xp a game for a win etc also the fact you win then disconnect in the next game there goes your xp
It does its job. You earn XP, you level up and get rewarded for it. You can’t say it’s not decent because someone that you kill easily is a higher level, that just means he’s played more hours than you have. I think rather than a 1-50 rank in Halo 3 they need to apply Social and Ranked playlists, the Ranked playlists working like The Arena in Halo: Reach. That way it doesn’t encourage boosters/derankers.
To all those whom are claiming that they are bringing ‘ranked’ realize that these ranks will only be visible on waypoint and not in game. I see no reason why this should be the case, seeing what ranks other people were was exciting and an integral part of ranked halo for me and I’m sure for tons of other people as well.
