UI limitations is the biggest pile of rubbish I have ever heard for an excuse. 343 are just literally ruining everything…

Anyway, have you messed around with the game’s code? How do you know their excuse isn’t valid?
I blame budget cuts.
I’ll be honest I had to look up what “UI limitations” stood for, but when I searched it the only thing I could come up with were discussions about the difference between desktop and mobile users using websites. For example, the small screen of a smart phone doesn’t allow you to see a page in its entirety, its more difficult to type on, and its easy to misclick something on the website. These are inherent to the mobile nature of the device.
Now unless I’m missing something I don’t see how the 360 would be capable of having these limitations, seeing as how the rank doesn’t have to be present in game and nearly everyone plays halo on a larger screen than they use to view waypoint. But maybe I’m missing something.

Have you ever tried to make your own game? A mod? Or have you examined the Halo 4’s code? No? Then stay quiet, please.
Oh for god sake, do you seriously believe they can’t implicate a freakin display of a rank in the game? OF COURSE THEY CAN. For some unknown reason they just dont want to!?
When I heard the UI excuse my first thought was they just don’t want to include VIGR or MS won’t let them. By this point I expected that modders would have shown it was entirely possible, like what happened with sim city.
That hasn’t happened that I’m aware of so I guess the UI thing was legit.
One more reason to loathe an detest the horrific UI in this game.
limitations in the code is an excuse although yea now it might not be possible. they knew they were going to use these ranks before the game was released and they could have made it possible at that time but they did not.

I realise they could do that. They don’t want to do that because it would be pain in the… butt to make that happen. We would wait for months just to have a possibility to check stupid number next to our gamertags. Doesn’t it feel silly to you?
