Frankie said “no purple”. There’s probably not going to be many UNSC weapons either, since Chief is on a Forrunner planet, and I sure he isn’t going back to the Dawn every time he needs more ammo. Because of this, we can expect lots more Forrunner weapons and vehicles.
Anyone else just expect them to recreate the stables in Forerunner form?

Idk, you never know if we might see Sangheili or other species about in Halo 4. The covenent is over, but not the different species.
I’m guessing there will be UNSC, Forerunner, and (hopefully) Precursor weapons in Halo 4.
From what little us fans know (and have guessed) the story of Halo 4 will be one of relative isolation, exploration, and discovery on some type of ancient planet (presumably Forerunner.) When I say “isolation,” I mean from the rest of the UNSC and ex-Covenant species. There is a lot of talk about the Forerunners and Precursors, so most lore-followers are guessing that the story will revolve around Chief and Cortana interacting with those two races in some fashion. Obviously, there will be some type conflict that ensues. Mind you, this is all educated speculation.
My personal speculation: Halo 5 will probably bring back the rest of the UNSC and ex-Covenant species after they learn of the events in Halo 4 and get involved in whatever the conflict is. Then we will see the return of Covenant-style weapons, and probably some new ones. Characters like The Arbiter, Dr. Halsey, the remaining Spartans, and Lord Hood will most likely return in Halo 5. I’m also really hoping that Buck and Veronica Dare will be incorporated somehow.
I dont think they will take out ALL covi vehicles, weapons and enemies. The rest of the covi, the one who still believe in the great journey, could come back any time.
I mean, yes, we’ve seen it for years. But a Halo game without anything related to older Halo games? Can you call that “Halo”? It wasn’t just Masterchief. The enemies, the weapons and their sounds and everything around Masterchief was what made Halo to a Halo game.

How come nobody ever considers all the possibilities. Halo4 takes place some years after Halo3 so even the issues in Glass Lands might not apply at this time.
As we seen in the concept art trailer it looks like the UNSC WILL be there so there WILL be UNSC weaponry, also maybe by then the humans and sanghili will be completely in an alliance so the sanghili could be there as well. There are tones of possibilities. I highly doubt 343 would completely ditch all the former covenant species that we’ve known for 10 years and I’m definitely not the only one who does not want them to either.
