as soon as i logged on to halo mcc. I try to get into a match. Once match starts i can’t move at all. Can’t shoot can’t do nothing. Xbox menu button works and the pause menu works. Any other button doesn’t work. I tried to reinstall the game and the problem is still there. I tried to enter a firefight game. Everything works normal. When i play campaign everything works normal. Only when i try to get into matchmaking games other then firefight it doesn’t register any movement coming from my controller. [I only use xbox controler to play. no changes were made or alterations. It started once the game updated.
Check your game settings and set a prefered control method in there.
Unplug controller and only leave the KB+M in - does that work?
Close the game and steam, plugin controller, launch MCC - set controller as prefered control method and test - can you move now?

I tried Kb+M and it worked. Looked back at the settings a realized i must of place KB+M as my preference instead of my xbox controller. Those settings could not be adjusted on the fly while playing. You would have to be on the main menu to make the change. Once i changed it. Went into a match an it worked. Thank you.
