So instead of having everyone download the beta and jamming up the servers in a 24 hour period before the beta starts…Why not have the pre download up for a week or at least a few days before not just one day…come on with all the problems gaming networks have experienced over the last few weeks. I am really starting to doubt the ability of today’s devs to think logically… if there are problems with this beta 343 and Halo will be done I will not pre order halo 5 after the MCC fiasco the way it is but if the beta is unplayable I Will Not Buy Halo 5
You realize these are the same people who released the MCC when it wasn’t even working right? They don’t know the meaning of common sense.
Because it’s a beta. They should be making changes and patching stuff right up until the last moment so that the game launches in the most working state possible and they can get the most accurate feedback possible (rather than hundreds of reports on bugs which no longer exist).
If you let people download it a week in advance they would have to download huge patches before playing it anyway. Compiling a release takes time and making people re-download content is wasteful.
