No codes from Gamestop

I picked it up at midnight all ready pre orderd an can’t find the codes check the receipt and email nothing.
What do I do?

Same thing happened to me bro. Something went wrong with them. In the morning go to gamestop and show the recipt. they will give you the codes there.

You could go back tomorrow or you could email support on gamestop.com. Just be aware that it could take a few days to get your code from online support.

at the gamestop i went to they said that the servers were down and to come back tomorrow or later this week for it as long as i keep my receipt they said

There was a problem with the code printer thing or whatever. Come back later in the week. As long as you have a record of you getting the game.

Apparently they weren’t prepared for a bazillion people trying to get pre-order codes & play online, their servers crashed harder than a car in a Mythbusters experiment.

I’m happy its just not me and come to think of it they were having issues with the computers.

Glad i didnt go to the midnight release it wouldve been a waste of time and gas to go there just to have to go back the next day. Hopefully the issue will be sorted out by the time i pick up my copy of the LE tomorrow around 1pm.

My codes were all printed on there. My gamestop was really well prepared. Closed at 8. Opened at 9 to give out receipts/group numbers. Set everything up in the movie theater. Let us play in there until 11:30. Lined us back up. Opened their doors at 11:52. Took receipts from us at the door, put receipt in bag and sent us on our way

You can tell them your name and your info and they will give it to you.

It’s not individual stores that it happened to but the whole company. The servers that distribute codes went down for an unknown reason which is why there was an issue. It’s not that Gamestop was unprepared for this but a random technical issue. This big of a release happens every year at least once so gamestop knew what was coming.

I didn’t even pick my game up once I heard they had problems, I’m like “no, I’ll be back in the morning” the manager goes “well you can pick the game up now” I’m like “no, I’ll be back in the morning”

I don’t want to pick my game up and try to get my code later and they f!ck me over. You will give me my -Yoink- all at once.
