So as 343 said after the beta the classic Rocket Laucher would return as a legendary weapon. Although after watch RULs video of the customization I did not see the classic RL. It could be that this actually isn’t the final build with the RL in it but I’m kinda skeptical.
I saw it too man but hey the game is still a month away and (this next part has been said over and over again but damn it’s the most logical thing to say) it is not the final build of the game, more features will be implimented/fixed
Also, it could always be added for free later down the road, like they promised would happen with REQs. 
Was it actually said it would be added in? I remember there was talks of it, but was there an actual confirmation?
My best guess is that it is coming as part of some planned DLC later. True it is not the final build but the sheer plethora of items seems to indicate that the customization is there in it’s final form.

Beat me to it, yeah this was confirmed months ago that the original design would be back. If it’s not in Greenskull’s video, most likely as it’s an old build and they haven’t put the model in yet. Also, linked the post 
The classic rocket launcher is put as a legendary weapon.
I may be seeing things but the real thing to look at is the return of the halo CE rocket hog varient. Things just don’t get more classic than that.
Has to be a old build because forge is not in the main menu either.
