Don’t understand why everyone is so focused on sprint. Thrusters change the game play of halo way more than sprint does. Main thing wrong with halo 5 is the fact that most every engagement ends in one of the combatants boosting 10 yards to cover when they think they will lose the battle. Leaving the better player to get picked off by an enemy teammate. Pretty sure that didn’t happen in halo 2 or 3. In fact don’t ever remember that happening with sprint either. Like all the changes so far, but thrusters need a change. Either a penalty like sprint has or less power or something.
Thrusting only shoots you about ten feet to the side. It is a defense mechanic that you can you skillfully.
if anything, an increased cooldown
Shorten the distance and take it’s restriction on shooting away, it just makes it weak offensively and strong defensively when you can’t shoot and the distance is like 20 feet.

I never witnessed this in the beta. I hear some people talking about how thrusters do this, but I never saw it in the beta.
I don’t think thrusters do much. They give you a short squirt in one direction and have a long cooldown. I think too big of a deal is made out of them.
They also said all SA are getting tuned. I’m sure that includes thrusters.

its weird i have seen a lot of people say the same thing, but every game I got in they would thrust away every time they started losing. I mean it’s definitly a skill thing, and I mostly saw it happening when I played again people at higher skill levels, but it’s still aggravating and halo play style changing.
