I’ve been playing Halo 5 for about two months now, and I’ve been wondering why there aren’t any casual/unranked versions of some playlists in arena? I mainly play Team Slayer and Swat by myself and all too often it feels like I’m playing against people who take the game too seriously and are just trying to get to the next skill rank instead of playing for fun. I remember being in a party with some guys once and someone said “Let’s play some BTB” then someone else said “No, it’s not ranked, so there’s no point”.
It would be really nice if there were casual playlists for people like myself who don’t want to get matched against the extremely competitive (and sometimes overly aggressive) pros and hardcores all the time, who like to think they are “MLG” or whatever.
I remember in Halo 3 they did this for most playlists, and in Reach there was the “Arena” game type where only the best of the best ever played.
