I cant understand.
We had btb objective since halo ce, but there are no btb objective in halo 4.
It shows how this game was rushed to release (or 343i is stupid, what i believe they are).
What is the excuse for this?
This game was launched in november, we are almost in april and there are no date for this modes.
This is Unacceptable.
Halo 4 btb is stupid (alot of things in this game are stupid) but there is no excuse for this, BTB its like a fiesta mode 8vs8, everybody with power weapons, plasma granades and plasma pistols, vehicles useless and no objectives modes.
They’ve clearly stated its coming soon. Keep in mind there are reasons we probably don’t know about, I wouldn’t jump to the conclusion of laziness. But I’m excited t get some BTB CTF again !

Sorry, but what i think about “comming soon” it means months for me.
We all know the recent history of 343i about their “dates”.
We all know this game was rushed: no btb objectives, file browser working only after 3 months of relased date, and alot of other things.

Or it could be that your expectations of what $60 gets you is a tad too high?
You want Team objectives, I want it too.
343i said it is coming, and I suggest that we play some other game types until then.

There has been no official explanation as to why Big Team objectives have been left out of the game so far. Here are some of the rumors and theories I have heard:
-Instant Respawn and Sprint messes up the current map flow
-More people like just Slayer and don’t ever want objectives in BTIS
-A BTB Objective only playlist would split up population of the currently largest playlist.
-Pay for Castle DLC BTB first
-Vague technical limitations. Hard work is hard.
-Stat padders will ruin the experience by ignoring objectives
-Infinity is 343’s baby and you don’t mess with a mama bear’s cubs
Personally I don’t agree with any of these reasons and I want to play some Big Team CTF as soon as possible. Can anybody think of any other unofficial reasons for the lack of BTB Objectives?

-There’s only so many objective game types available. At present, it’d be BTB CTF, Oddball, Koth, Extraction and maaaaaaaaaaaaybe Dominion.
CTF, Extraction, and Dominion would be pretty nice, but the thought of BTB Oddball makes me cringe.

I agree with you, and I think the reason they held off BtB objective is to announce the new forge world, because the best BtB moments in my opinion was Big team heavies on forge maps in Reach. Gotta love Rasu.
