There are no brutes in Halo 4 campaign. There was previous suggestions about there going to be brutes because of the gravity hammer achievement in a campaign mission. I for one am happy there are no brutes, What do think about brutes?

I think that they slowly became worse and worse over time. In Halo 2, they were essentially angry bullet sponges, but at least they were different from Elites. In Halo 3… they were pretty much replacements to Elites, the only differences being the berserker rage and the fact that it’s tough to stick Chieftains. In Reach… ugh, just terrible.
I hope 343 does bring them back in a small capacity, but only if they make them interesting to fight again. I actually did like fighting them in Halo 2; eviscerating them with the Pink Mist is always great.

Pretty ballsy they aint comin’ back for now. 
I love (Halo 2) Brutes. I’m disappointed that they won’t be in Halo 4, mostly because that means no Chopper, Brute Shot, or Brute Plasma Rifle unless 343i comes up with a very clever explanation or they’re exclusive to Forge and Custom Games.

Sorry, i meant what enemy will have it in the campaign. Since the achievement is to hammer so many crawlers with it i believe? Unless it is just lying around and the hard part is finding it.
I personally don’t care if they get removed, I’m more interested in the new enemies.
