I don’t know if everyone knows or not but it was announced that there is no brutes in halo 4! I personally am glad because I hated them… Are you glad that they are gone?

I’m actually a bit disappointed, Brutes are an important part of Halo’s lore and fiction and the Post-War climate. I’m hoping they return for Halo 5 or 6. And the Arbiter too!

Anyways, there have been at least two or three threads about this already. Personally, I don’t really care. If they stayed, it would’ve been more variety, but they were also kind of annoying enemies. I guess I’m just indifferent.
I feel it’s childish to be glad about the lack of Brutes in Halo 4, regardless of whether you like them or not. They are an important part of Halo, they are a powerful counterpart to the Elites, and just generally good characters to have in a war-torn universe.
It’s like; we all hate Livia Soprano, but by the gods she was a brilliant character to have in the show.
p.s. Since we’re getting the Gravity Hammer, I hope we get other remnants of Brute tech as well. The Chopper and the Brute Shot in particular.
I saw a post earlier like this, most people are glad they’re gone, but personally I love brutes, so I was hoping for at least a level or something with them in it.
The Gravity Hammer is in, so the blow is lessened to a degree.
…I just want to see Halo 4’s version of the Hunters.
