No Bloom is bad.

If you want to express an opinion please do. But to say bloom is completely random is inaccurate, and an over simplification of the issue.

Preference is preference, and dishonest is dishonest.

Umm…Dont gotta play ZB. Can still play 100% or 85%. Just pick Team Slayer or Super Slayer.

Bloom on Reach is random.

This is more accurate. So I take no issue.

I believe ZB to be good and should be added to more playlist.

No bloom = Spam to kill.

Bloom = Skill to kill.

its easy.

You had that around the wrong way bud so I fixed it for you.

Your kd and playtime imply that you know exactly what your talking about.

Nice!

I’m not used to this no bloom aspect anymore. I really can’t get into it. It’s not that I like bloom, it’s just that I’ve kinda lost my ‘spamming’ touch. Even in ZB playlists I find myself pacing my shots.

> No bloom i think is bad, i get like one hit killed with it… Its too powerfull i think 343i should slow the fire rate down and have somewhat bloom percentage on it.

That does not happen ever. It takes 5 shots MINIMUM with the DMR alone to kill a person. The deaths aren’t even as fast as Call of Duty. Just calm down, clear you mind, and improve yourself. Aim for the head, and don’t worry about zooming in all the time.

Slightly off topic but Team Doubles should be TU ZB…just throwing that out there.

I cannot get used to no bloom. I’ve played too much vanilla Reach.

They have non zero bloom playlists.

Saying bloom is totally random is false and is over simplifying. You can spam to kill at any range in ZB where as spamming with bloom only works in closer ranges, you can’t effectively cross-map by spamming with bloom and at mid range it is also harder to hit by spamming. Myself I like TU 85%. And if people like ZB so much why don’t more people play TU ZB or MLG?

The people who think kill times are too fast in zb must never have played h2/h3. Kill times in those games were similar to zb setting in reach. Having all of your shots register without bloom makes it so that mistakes are punished and good positioning is rewarded.

In a bloom environment, you could have somebody sneak up behind you get the first shot on you, and even though he had better positioning and awareness, (coupled with sprint) you could still easily get away because with bloom a 5 shot is never guaranteed even if you aim perfectly.

Now in zb those people are being punished for making those little decision and positioning errors. All in all zb makes people have to play smarter to get the kill. Not just mindlessly run around and shoot anything that moves.

spamming with bloom only works in closer ranges,

For the most part yes, but bloom will be bloom and every once in a while some one will spam a 5 shot with bloom from across the map. The best way to describe it would be controlled randomness in that if you spam or pace at the appropriate distance the end result isn’t always the same but for the most part predictable.

And if people like ZB so much why don’t more people play TU ZB or MLG?

The lack of these settings early on when the game first came out left the competitive aspect of the game lacking and took most of the competitive players with it.
