No Blood Gulch :'(

Bring back Blood Gulch/Coagulation the way it was meant to be played. On Halo Reach, i continually think the bases are opposite of where they really are. It just looks like the red base should be where the blue base is and vise versa. I think you should work on getting the feel of BloodGulch/Coagulation back because Reach ruined it.

There’s actually a pretty good rendering of Coagulation out there, it’s used by the ilovebtb guys. Wouldn’t mind seeing that bump Hemorrhage out.

Don’t really care. I was never big on the vehicle combat, but I say bring back Coagulation for those who like it.

I would personally like an actual Blood Gulch or Coagulation remake in Halo 4, thank you. Hemorrhage looked good in the ViDocs, but it just didn’t turn out… I honestly think it’s because it’s the hub for Forge World. This means it had to be open to the rest of the map by default, and they had to block it off manually in Forge. It really changed the feel, giving it lush green visuals, opening both sides to the ocean, and erecting a large metal wall at one end. Not even to mention how the DMR changed gameplay and how the rearranged vehicles stopped it feeling classic.

Yes, brown canyon walls, and keep it actually enclosed to the rest of the world. That is why I liked it in Halo 2 and CE. It felt forgotten.

Ditto. But then the vehicles on the map should be the same like on Coagulation, i.e. a Banshee, a Ghost, and two Warthogs per team. IMO this would make the map more fun than Hemorrhage where vehicles dominate far too much for my taste.

The two best Big Team maps ever created, they exist only in our memories now and on youtube.

Think about them, their greatness, then compare Reach’s Spire and Boneyard to them.

I really enjoy Boneyard BTB, it’s just that the initial spawns are annoying. Waterworks suffered from an incredibly limited palate and poor design decisions, but was fun.

I’ll be blunt: I don’t like Blood Gulch, Coagulation nor Hemorrhage. They were poorly thought-out maps that had too little going on to balance vehicle versus player. Sight lines guarantee sniper/vehicle dominance on ever iteration of the map, with little to break up the chaos and provide focus. I know I’ll get flak for this, but I liked Valhalla much more, despite Blood Gulch’s emblematic reputation.

And if I ever were to get one BTB map remade on request, it would be Sandtrap. Now that was a map.

They are not the same, but it is a remake of it. Why would they put the same map in twice?

Hemorrage is a little greener, but they’re literally carbon copies of each other. Just different colors. How aren’t they the same?

I don’t get why you should care. Hemorrage is already in the game as a remake.

Do you really want Blood Gulch with Reach’s sandbox?(Hemorrage) It will never play the same as you remembered it as the Reach sandbox isn’t like CE’s.

Anybody who knows blood gulch will agree that Hemmrrhage is nothing like the real BG. Weapons are all wrong, the cliff and keyhole are on the wrong bases, the rocks on teh sides promote camping and discourages middle of the map movement.

I dont understand why COD understands remakes but Halo does not. When fans say they want blood gulch they want blood gulch. Not a map inspired by blood gulch. The sheer arrogance of bungie beguiles me. Why do they always think they can make something that was great even greater by changing small details. If they lucked out and made one of the greatest FPS maps of all time (BG has been in multiple rankings as one of the best) why are they not humble enough to think they should just gives fans what they want instead of thinking their genius is endless and they can make an amazing map even more amazing.

Hemorrhage is a carbon copy of Coagulation. Bungie literally copied the terrain from Halo 2 and updated it for Reach.
