No beta proves that 343 is truly microsoft

I’m sure most people know about how Microsoft likes to ship out products and not be concerned about how long they work as long as they get your money e.x. 3ROD and very crappy accessories that are designed to break within a certain time frame so you will by more e.x. headphones, controllers, and rechargeable battery packs. So they are doing the same thing with halo 4 so I expect the same results sadly. They just want to ship it out as soon as possible and are not concerned whether it is a good product or not. I have a feeling this will sadly mark the end of halo unless by some miracle Microsoft decides to put out a quality product. R.I.P Halo1-3. I don’t count Reach as halo since it really wasn’t.

you know that thank button? i really wish there was a hate button.

Reach was totally a Halo game.

I think they really want to finish the game! Meaning if they put a beta out 3 months before the game comes out and everyone hates it they wouldn’t have time to change and fix everything.
Have faith its Halo!

No Beta?

Who said No Beta?

Pretty sure said Frankie said he would like a massive amount of people playing the game before release but if that get in the way of polishing the game then no beta.

All Halos have been Xbox exclusive, and have been designed for -Yoink!-. This one is no different. The nice thing about today’s games is that they can be worked on right up to release, and beyond, thanks to patches. Your arguments are weak.

Also, if you want something that doesn’t ever break, how much are you willing to pay for it. Making degradable items is reality in EVERYTHING!

they just released a preview of their works in progress and now you expect a beta and just because they don’t say anything about it you suddenly assume that they are not going to have one. give them some damn time you just need to wait there will most likely be a beta but not this soon maybe in the summer. hell look at mass effect 3 they released a beta 3 weeks before the game came out.

ಠ_ಠ I have no words to describe my disdain for you OP.

Where did he say that

> Where did he say that

My reaction.

Stop thinking you’re entitled to a beta.

Frank said that the game and multiplayer in particular is being tested over a “wide” audience behind scenes. The two maps we saw yesterday are even being played and tested now, I’m sure they have been for a while now. You can say he’s lying or the extent of this isn’t enough for you but at the end of the day, it’s not like their making a game without it being tested. It’s just not being ‘publicly’ tested.

I signed up for the Xbox Beta thing. I’ve already given some great feedback for one of MS’s games. Hopefully I’ll get a copy of Halo 4 sent my way. :3

Correction,

They released a DEMO 3 weeks before the game came/comes out.

Big difference from a Beta.

Tip: Be skeptical if a game releases a Beta less than a month from release, 99% of all games that have done this have been sub-par in technical quality.

OP if you think about it, we’re better off without a beta.

Halo CE & Halo 2: No Beta, Amazing Games.

Halo 3 & Halo Reach: Beta, Bad games (at least in comparison)
