No Beta Means No Significant TU Changes

I was just thinking, if 343 said they did not do a beta because a beta will only tell game designers not to change anything, in other words players will say new changes are bad no matter what, that means they wanted to implement most or all of the changes in Halo 4, bizarrely enough, regardless of whether or not the fan base wanted the changes.

They obviously have a “We know what the fans want better than they know themselves” attitude.

Because of this seeming to be 343’s attitude, I highly doubt we will see any significant changes to Halo 4 through a TU or even multiple patches over time. I think they’ll just play with playlists a little, like adding in a few such as Team Doubles, Team Snipers, MLG, Classic, fix some bugs, and make extremely minor changes to weapon damage or other similar things.

In other words, don’t expect things like the Boltshot being significantly weakened or removed as a secondary, 1-50 Halo 2/3 ranking, any changes to ordnance drops, and so on. I highly doubt we’ll see any of that stuff change.

Because as we all know, 343i didn’t do anything to Halo Reach.

> Because as we all know, 343i didn’t do anything to Halo Reach.

Providing one small change in adding no bloom wasn’t something praise worthy. It was to late when it was done. The only thing that needs to be changed is the flinching, i needs to go now.

I said no significant changes. I actually mentioned some possible changes they will do comparable to what they did in Reach.

The boltshot is the only weapon that needs a slight nerf. Aside from that, all precision weapons other than the dmr should be slightly buffed.
