No AwesomeNauts Threads...?...Change Needed

Seriously, I see the need to cry out to the Heavens, or more specifically for this, to you, the Flood, that AwesomeNauts is by far the best thing you could ever get on XBLA…

Proof of Awesomeness of AwesomeNauts

…Now saying that it’s the best thing on XBLA isn’t all that impressive seeing as the majority of Titles on XBLA are absolutely bloody awful, but seriously, this game is brilliant, if you’re a fan of League of Legends or Dota, then I’d recommend it…

…And if you’re not, because I know I sure as hell wasn’t, I’d still recommend it because it’s just too awesome to not get for 800msp…and when you can get trial too, you have no excuse to not at least try it out…

Aw there are many decent XBLA and PSN games.

Awesomenauts is pretty “awesome” though.=P

My boyfriend got it free since he has PSN+ and we played it a bit on splitscreen. It’s pretty fun. I love, love, lovee the theme song. It sounds like a 90’s opening theme for some cartoon show.=P

> Aw there are many decent XBLA and PSN games.

Well, maybe I was a tad cruel, but I’d have to say there are a hell of a lot more awful Arcade Titles than there are good ones…

-Castle Crashers
-Trials HD/Evolution
-'Splosionman

…to name a few…

> Awesomenauts is pretty “awesome” though.=P

…I see what you did there you sly boots

> My boyfriend got it free since he has PSN+ and we played it a bit on splitscreen. It’s pretty fun. I love, love, lovee the theme song. It sounds like a 90’s opening theme for some cartoon show.=P

…Ha! I also love the fact that the Achievements/Trophies are all themed from 80’s-90’s Cartoons

Those are all good. I also loved Castlevania HD, Dungeon Defenders, Monday Night Combat, Gotham City Impostorseven though it’s really easy and was super buggy at first and may still be, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, Battlefield 1943, Hydrophobiavoice acting is pretty meh but what I played was fun, X-men arcade game, and the Ninja Turtles games to name a few. There are some others too. To each their own though.=P

I haven’t actually looked at the trophies since they were on his account. =O I need to buy the game for myself.

> Castlevania HD

Forgot about that one, my bad…

> Dungeon Defenders

…Heard great things about that game, never played it, and again, forgot…

> Monday Night Combat

…Oh yeah, I actually got that one, granted it died out fast, hence it being forgettable, but that pretty damn fun…

> Gotham City Impostors

…I cannot believe I forgot this Game, I play the bloody thing all the time…and yes, it is still a tad buggy, but vastly improved, and it’s seen a Free DLC and a Half Free DLC, free half being a Map, the rest Customization…

> Alan Wake’s American Nightmare

…Saw some hilarious Let’s Plays, a tad same-y, but really entertaining to watch…

> Battlefield 1943

…Now there’s a hell of an Arcade Game, my excuse for forgetting this would have to be this one would fall under an XBLA Classic…

> Hydrophobia

…Heard mixed things for this game, sounded good in concept, never got around to sampling it myself…

> X-men arcade game

…It looked interesting to say the least, heard a few complaints, but it look fun…

> Ninja Turtles

…Unfortunately I heard a whole Hell-Storm of complaints about that one, not to say it’s bad, but I shrugged it off given the reception it got…

Which Ninja Turtles game though? There’s 2 or 3. There’s the remake of one and then there’s the original. I never played it online though, just single player. Maybe it was buggy.

Yup. I played it on PSN. We had to wait almost a month longer for the DLC/patch though. It could get really buggy and awful at times. It’s fun though.

Monday Night Combat was great but yeah it died fast. Castlevania HD had a good following but the game is about 2 years old I think.

I haven’t played the Alan Wake XBLA game but I watched it being played. It’s probably more so for those who were fans of the first Alan Wake.

Do many people still play 1943? Such a fun game.

X-men is fine but it’s just the old arcade game but on live. I think there are a few glitches.

I played Castlevania HD so much. I want them to make another.@_@

Dungeon Defenders is pretty fun. There’s a lot of loot you can get and you can level up 4 different characters and get a bunch of stuff for them. The DLC adds new levels and new characters too.

> Which Ninja Turtles game though?

The most recent one, heard nothing but bad things…and honestly can’t remember why…

> We had to wait almost a month longer for the DLC/patch though. It could get really buggy and awful at times. It’s fun though.

…If I remember correctly, the DLC and the Patch came out earlier than intended for the 360…for whatever reason it just popped up out of nowhere…

> Monday Night Combat was great but yeah it died fast.

…It was a shame really, because it was really fun and interesting game…damnedable shame…

> Castlevania HD had a good following but the game is about 2 years old I think.

…If Arcade Title’s Prices actually dropped over time as normal retail games do, I’d probably pick it up seeing as I have spare points…

> I haven’t played the Alan Wake XBLA game but I watched it being played. It’s probably more so for those who were fans of the first Alan Wake.

…It was just basically half of a continuation of the original, even though it was originally intended to have a proper successor…

> Do many people still play 1943? Such a fun game.

…I’d like to think so, I mean the game had/has quality, so I see no reason why people wouldn’t still play it unless the Servers were deactivated, but I’d doubt that’d be done so soon…

> X-men is fine but it’s just the old arcade game but on live. I think there are a few glitches.

…I had heard it wasn’t all that special, but to it’s credit it sounded like a game I could enjoy…

> I played Castlevania HD so much. I want them to make another.@_@

…For the simple sake you seemed to have enjoyed it so much, I second that motion, but I’d much prefer someone gets around to making another OddWorld game, even if it were just an Arcade Title…

> Dungeon Defenders is pretty fun. There’s a lot of loot you can get and you can level up 4 different characters and get a bunch of stuff for them. The DLC adds new levels and new characters too.

Sounds like a worthwhile investment Entertainment-wise, and I do remember hearing good things, but seeing as I’m trying to save money…sort-of…I’d probably be cutting gaming purchases down as much as possible…

…Hence only getting cheap Arcade Titles to tide me over like AwesomeNauts and Fable Heroes, then getting GRFS to kill time through the Summer, then maybe get Dragon’s Dogma when it drops in price…

…Then the only games left to get would be Halo 4 and Resident Evil 6…

They have had Castlevania HD on sale. They had the game and all the DLC on for half off. I paid full price for the game and the DLC. It cost me 40 for everything so about 20 for half off. Idk if it’ll be on sale again though.

I thought they were still planning a sequel to Alan Wake?

As for Dungeon Defenders, it’s been on sale at least once so i’m sure it will go on sale again.

I was interested in Fable Heroes but after seeing reviews it just doesn’t look that good IMO.

I think Dragon’s Dogma actually looks cool. I would definitely rent it or wait till it drops though.

H4 and RE6 and Borderlands 2 will be my main purchases this year. I plan to rent Lollipop Chainsaw and the new DMC when they come out. I might get GRFS eventually. I also want The Last of Us, Playstation All Stars, Bioshock Infinite and the new Tomb Raider plus who knows what else. I’ll definitely have to wait for price drops or rent some of those.

I dunno about awful, I rather like Trials Evolution, I would get Awesomenauts but I am strapped for cash at the moment, and I would like to save and get the money I need to cover my Halo 4 pre-order before I go spending it on anything else.

I don’t like it that much, I like the name but not the game.
