Recently got Halo Wars 2 on PC but I have an issue where the announcer in multiplayer games isn’t there. There’s no confirmation on unit selection (local, all units), building completion, unit production, upgrades, leader powers, etc. The game is silent except for FX sounds between units (grunts shooting, kodiaks shelling, etc). The issue also exists in the campaign but with the added frustration that none of the characters talk. I can see Jerome or Cutter talking on the top left but there’s no audio for it.
Sometimes there is announcer audio but most times there aren’t. I reinstalled and it fixed the problem for a few games but it’s back again. I reinstalled once again and it did nothing. I tried to look up the problem online but only saw a couple of users with the problem and it was unresolved.
This is really killing the game experience for me. Thanks.
