No Aim Assist, No More Halo. Hear your Non Esports players 343!

Yeah you literally don’t understand M&K vs controller.

I completely disagree. Aim assist in previous Halo titles was nothing more then a slow down of the response curve as your crosshairs neared it’s target.

Infinites aim assist is legit aim bot. It’s so strong that it’ll actually pull your crosshairs away if two enemies are standing side by side. It also provides zero slowdown as you near your target which is why over aim is extremely common and aiming in general feels like hot garbage.

Halo has no aim assist…? We’re still claiming this?

I agree with your vid 99.9%. But you’re walking back and fourth with a stationary player as well. The aim assist has much less factor when you start going up into the higher ranks. But I also agree, something should be done to make M&K compete with controller players who have been playing for 20 years lol.

Not sure what you mean by a stationary player…? I clearly show the game tracking the enemy without me even touching the right stick while both characters are moving, that’s not being stationary.

Maybe you didn’t watch the at 23 minutes?

You were aiming at a stationary player. Now put Lucid or Royal 2 at the other end of the screen and you’re not hitting anything.

Agreed. The aim assist is terrible. Why on earth can’t we have aim assist options like every other fps out there? It is 2022.

I feel the same way as u, i don’t feel like playing because until they add aim assist options

I can’t believe the alternate reality you guys live in

Talk about missing the point…

There is no point missing. Once you start getting to the upper levels of ranks including running into pro players it’s almost useless at that point.

But I still agree, we need to get M&K up to standard and weather that means fixing M&K to not feel as loose and uncontrollable or overhauling controllers and how they perform is something I want as well. Halo infinite had every last piece of the puzzle to blow out back to it’s former glory. But I told everybody in the comp community both ams and pros, if controllers dominate the game, it’s going to fail.

Now. Has it failed? NO! We had 100k concurrent viewers last major with a total of 1.2 million tuning in for championship sunday, 256 teams sold out and sold out spectator passes. But it will keep dipping if we do not pull in core PC player who WANTED to play Halo, like Summit, like Dr.Disrespect, ect ect. but bailed due to problems once they started ranking up and not playing below average controller players.

I am 100% in agreement with you.

Little known facts regarding Halo Infinite players who falsely claims they are good at killing enemy players. They use cheat codes, keyboard and mouse and aimbot. I mean seriously, the moment they spot the enemy, they enable a cheat code to auto-lock-on to the enemy player so they can shoot them 100% accuracy. I suspect that all the Halo streamers are cheaters, too due to using aimbot.

I mean it’s absurd and unthinkable for them to use cheat codes with their keyboard and mouse.

No other Halo game felt this unsatisfying. Weapons all feel like a chore to use, and nothing feels good at all. I am incredibly disappointed with the direction they took this game. I sincerely miss the feel of Halo 2, Halo 3, and even Halo 4. Without ordinance drops and loadouts, Halo 4 would have been perfect. I just don’t have fun with this game no matter how many chances I give it. Weapons feel weak, and have no punch. In previous games, you could kill multiple people with one magazine. This game you’re lucky if you down one person. It is just so sad.

Very disappointing. I really don’t know why we don’t have aim assist options😔

I agree. H5 and h4 and reach were way more run and rewarding

The top ranked players in the controller category have a higher accuracy than the Mouse and keyboard players, so aim assist is definitely working and is an advantage over MnK.

I have improved and gotten decent but I admit halo 3 was more satisfying and felt right as opposed to infinite. With infinite I’ve learned to work with the awkwardness

this is not a post of K&M vs controller… we dont care about who has the advantage, we care about having fun and how aim is taking that from us.

If people care about the K&M vs Controller they should ask for a input crossplay option (like in MCC), which is not the case in this topic.

I played infinite for the first month on an Xbox One S and then stopped until recently. There is literally no aim assist on xbox one. It is unbelievable that any shooter game released would play that bad. It must be a really bad glitch. It felt like i had the opposite of aim assist. My reticle seemed to push away from enemies. It’s is literally unplayable on my xbox one s.

I recently got a pc and had great aim assist for the first day or two and now aim assist seems to be turned off. I use the left stick to aim all of the time and it barely helps. It’s still better to play on pc than xbox one s, since you don’t have aim assist either way. Might as well play with higher frame rate.
