No Aim Assist Bug??

After playing previous Halo titles before this flight, I noticed my shot was super off. Decided to test how powerful aim assist was and am not noticing any. I heard they scaled it back but was quite shocked when I didn’t feel it at all. Tested it a bunch of different ways in Weapon Drills (2&3) and training mode. Nothing. Could this be a bug for Xbox? Not sure if I should report, or maybe I’m testing it wrong? Don’t know how that would be possible but. All feedback welcome.

This ain’t really a bug to be honest, you can try adjust some of your deadzones which may help but overall aim assist has been reduced dramatically in Halo Infinite. For better or worse, I’m not too sure yet.

They actually supposedly buffed the aim assist from last flight. It was way worse the first flight could barely stay on target on every gun except the BR. The aim assist feels much better now, not noticing overpowering recoil on the sidekick like before. However the commando, sniper and skewer are still pretty hard to use maybe that’s why it doesn’t feel right.

I haven’t noticed it much on most guns, maybe at most it could be bumped up ever so slightly.

however, the commando feels absolutely horrendous on console.

Just my personal opinion as a console H3 kid, guns feel so much better than flight 1. Its crazy.

The sniper and the skewer feel slightly better since the first flight, but still too difficult to use and the rest of the guns flat out feel no different. I’m baffled that aiming still feels this bad after all the complaints in the first flight.
