For those of you who don’t know what aim acceleration is, lets say you have your sensitivity set to 5. When you start moving your crosshairs, the sensitivity will start at 1, then 2, 3, 4, and eventually cap off at 5.
This feature is in Halo 3 and Reach it makes aiming feel very choppy. Either exclude it, or give players a option to disable it.
I am certainly one who was against the changes. It confuses me why a company, Bungie, would ever change it. Halo 2 flowed so smooth. Then Halo 3 introduced us to the gradual sensitivity “aim acceleration” and the game has not felt the same since. I can only be optimistic that 343 can take a strong look at this particular issue and get back to the basics. Remember, more technology does not always equate to a better game.
