Agreed, what you should do is tempt him enough to betray YOU again so you can boot HIM!

Usually they know better than that and won’t do it again if you provoke them but every now and again you’ll get a moron who will do it twice. I generally just go about my gaming and file a negative player review on them and forget about it. No reason to go to the forums and foam at the mouth over it.

As for the vehicle achievements, I wasn’t betrayed a single time trying to get the mantis stomp achievement. Trolls are trolls but you can’t get mad at the achievements because you were foolish enough to fall for the troll’s trap.

Yeah Halo 4 just flat out sucks as far as that goes. They should keep a team kill tally… granted that might just encourage people.

Sorry to hear about the situation. A recommendation from me though is:

  1. Don’t aim to get achievements, let them occur naturally.
  2. When you get betrayed, just shrug it off and go help a teammate.
  3. After the game, utilize the Submit Player Review for the betrayal player and report them for unsporting conduct.
  4. Try to remain calm when people do stuff like that.
