I am playing the Halo 4 campaign on the Master Chief collection solo as a straight play through. I finished the first mission, Dawn, and got the achievement for it. The game progressed automatically to Mission 2, Requiem. I finished it, and the game automatically progressed to the 3rd mission, Forerunner. However, I never got the achievement for completing Requiem. It is listed as locked. This also happened to me for one mission each on Halo 3 and ODST. I had to replay those missions separately, and then the achievement unlocked. I know this has been reported before, but the reason it keeps getting reported is that 8 months out from release the achievements are still glitched. I had no problem with the remastered versions of Halos 1 and 2. I had no problem with any Halo 360 achievements when I played them years ago. Why can’t these Halo: MCC achievement glitches be fixed this far out from release?
Does anyone feel this is more common with a straight campaign play through vs. playing each mission individually? Just wondering if that would affect the mission completion not being awarded an achievement. It’s not just the mission achievement you miss out on–you also don’t get the achievement for finishing the solo campaign for a completed game and the achievement for completing a difficulty level for the whole MCC series. Frustrating.
I kno . I had to play the game twice on same levels
This only happened to me on the H2A campaign on uprising. They say always do a hard rest of your Xbox before playing mcc. Whether it be campaign or multiplayer. Also be sure not to skip cut scenes I have read that skipping them can cause the achievement not to unlock.

I think that is the reason for the first of my mission achievement non-credits, but I was careful not to do that again. And then it happened to two other missions on two different games with no skipping of cutscenes. Just a glitchy transfer to XB1 I guess, as you read of many other achievement problems on this board, even this far out from launch.
Thanks for the feedback!
