I just got through the grueling task of beating Halo 2 on legendary only to not get the “Legendary Anniversary” achievement??? It says 92 percent completed and all 15 of the levels say legendary on difficulty completed… I kind of feel cheated. I spent a very long time playing this game on legendary. Halo CE was bad enough but Halo 2 was completely brutal, and now there’s no proof that I ever even did it. I don’t know what anybody can do about this, but it really makes me not want to continue with the series if I’m not going to get the achievement for doing it…
Make sure you watched the intro cut scene on Legendary, but I feel you the game is still buggy. My friend and I both got an achievement for beating a level on at least heroic without taking any damage even though we both did lol.

I know I watched every cutscene all the way through because they were incredible. I would hope the cutscenes wouldn’t have anything to do with the achievement but idk. I’m pretty pissed about it lol
I’ve made another discovery… I also don’t have the achievement for beating The Oracle at all. Maybe that has something to do with it, idk. I really don’t want to play it again, but if I have to I suppose I will. Just not tonight…
If the Heretic Leader is a problem a Fuel Rod Gun makes the fight easier but you have to pick up one during the previous mission.

Waypoint also says you haven’t done that mission either.
Just do that one, and you should get the achievement.

Relating to this you couid do the elevator glitch which makes that fight much easier
Sometimes they pop later…you just have to wait.
Theres a trick to make yourself invincible for the last part of the game if you feel that will help
