My Halo 5 Beta option is blacked out in the menus, and Halo Nightfall says that I have to still buy the Halo MCC even though its playing in the background as it says it. I havent been able to join a single matchmaking game either and their has been a lot of bugs where the game crashes and screws with my xbox when I go home. I was so excited to play with my buddies and all Ive gotten are a truckload of bugs. Please fix soon.

Yeah it’s because it hasn’t been realesed yet. 29th december it gets realesed
Nightfall should work (but doesn’t!), but the Beta will only go live late in December
I went through halo channel to get nightfall, instead of trying to access it from MCC, and it worked for me.
EDIT: Maybe its worth noting that i have the digital copy of MCC.

What a let down! No Nightfall, sh**ty matchmaking, and you can’t even join custom games. Get on it 343!
If you have a physical copy of MCC, check your receipts of box for a code. You’ll have to redeem that first then you can watch Nigthfall. If that doesn’t work, there are some troubleshooting steps you can try here and you can also try uninstalling the Halo Channel app, quit everything to dashboard, hold in power for 8 - 10 secs, restart and reinstall the HC app and see if that helps
Okay. And I’m sorry people about being angry, I’m trying to control my rage towards this game.
When and IF I finally get into a Matchmaking lobby on Halo 2 multiplayer, I am kicked out at the loading screen. When I am back in the menus where it says “Match Incomplete”, my game started to freak out and couldn’t decide whether it wanted to be “Connecting to your game, please wait” or not. I had to quit Halo from Xbox home to make it stop.
I will continue to make updates on any problems on this forum post, but so far the only problems that have been resolved are the game crashing unexpectedly and the menus are not as buggy as before.

Another problem is that on Halo 2 Anniversary on the mission Quarantine zone, I resumed the campaign and the whole screen was black. I fixed the problem by going to halo 2 graphics and back to anniversary (pressing the back button) but I thought I should mention it. I am somewhere in the middle of the mission where the objective is to push through the quarantine zone toward the library. I am at a point where I have the specter (i think that’s the name), the covenant vehicle that has a turret on top (not a wraith btw).
